Hi, I’m Alex
As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, I am committed to reimagining architecture as a tool for equity, resilience, and collective welfare. My work challenges the limitations of high-modernist ideals and market-driven solutions, advocating instead for participatory, care-centered design that responds to lived realities. Drawing from frameworks in sustainability, social justice, and housing equity—reinforced by minors in Sustainable Environments and Real Property Development—I focus on creating architectural interventions that prioritize community agency, long-term stability, and inclusive ownership models. I believe architecture should be more than functional or minimal; it should cultivate care, empower people, and support systemic change in our built environments.
