Copenhagen Guide

When in doubt: Alex’s CPH Map

Travel

Copenhagen Airport has a direct metro and train line to the city. Download the DSB app for ease of ticket buying, otherwise there are kiosks to buy tickets. Metro zones 1-4 is sufficient.

For everyday getting around, use the metro! It is clean, efficient, and quick.

Food

Copenhagen has some of the best food ever. You MUST try these:

Breakfast and Coffee (because coffee is never just enough)

Brunch or Lunch

Dinner

  • Polly (top 5 places to eat in the world, personally)

  • Reffen (warning: seasonal, I recommend taking the ferry)

  • Fabro (get there EARLY, the chalk board outside is their waiting list lol)

Wine and Cheese (because wine is never just enough)

Wildcards

  • 7/11… fancy and okay food!

  • Emmery’s is the Starbucks of Copenhagen

Harbor Attractions

I recommend taking the metro to Orientkaj (Nordhavn) and taking the ferry near that station. Go North to South:

Walk back through the old library grounds, back into the old city!

Museums

All are good!

Historic Attractions

Swimming

Clean harbors and beaches, good sunning!

Outside the City

Shopping

  • Illum Mall (cafe and pizza on the roof!)

  • Hay House

  • Arket

  • Rains
